About the Episcopal Church

Welcome to Grace Church

Grace Episcopal Church is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State in the city of Elmira.

We welcome your visit to our website and to our historic church.  A few years ago we celebrated the centennial of our church's location on Church Street in Elmira, NY. We are a vibrant and growing Episcopal parish and you are cordially invited to join us for worship, prayer, communion and community.

The Reverend Father Donald W. Matthews, Rector

Dear Grace Church Family and Friends--

We are pleased to report that the church is now accessible, the air monitoring company having declared this morning that the parish house is free of toxins. We ask for your patience and understanding for the next few months as we complete the last phase of our capital campaign project. There will some minor disruptions, but never on Sunday. Our regular schedule of Sunday and weekday Masses will resume beginning this Sunday, March 23, The Third Sunday in Lent.

--The Rector and Staff of Grace Episcopal Church
